「セミは一週間しか寿命がなくてかわいそう」と思われがちだけど、幼虫時代は熱くも寒くもない快適な土の中で、天敵に襲われる危険もなく甘い汁を一日中好きなだけ吸う優雅なニートライフを何年十何年も過ごす昆虫界でもトップクラスの長命種なので、寿命が短いなどと同情してあげる必要は全くないです
